Andy was both friendly and professional. The whole team were able to put me at my ease as I drank various disgusting and foul tasting liquids proffered throughout my x-ray examination. To relieve any stress I may be feeling, I tend to use my sense of humour and Andy was receptive to this as we went through changes of position and fluids to be both held in the mouth and swallowed. The last drink was the worst and definitely didn't taste of Orange or any other recognisable flavour. I would recommend a chocolate mint to banish its foul flavour, with plenty of water both before and after. It worked for me. My thanks to Andy for explaining everything as we went along and making the experience, if not quite enjoyable, at least bearable.

Tash (I think) called my from the waiting area and straight away put me at ease: she went through the questions clearly and took me through to the ex-ray room where Andy introduced himself. Andy asked questions and explained the procedure very clearly, giving me the opportunity to ask for any clarifications I may need. The procedure was carried out with care and very clear instructions. It would be arrogant of me to suggest any improvements, everything from the receptionist to walking out of the department was excellent. My sincere thanks to both Andy and Tash.

I was greeted in a friendly way by Mr Wilkinson and the nurse. Everything was explained well to me so I knew what to expect. I was very happy with the procedure for the barium swallow and their care whilst I was in the department. Excellent

I was extremely happy with how my barium swallow was performed today by Andy Wilkinson. I was told clearly how the procedure would be done. He asked several important questions and made me feel at ease along with the nurse who was in the room. Excellent

Andy welcomed me with a friendly greeting and explained the procedure to me and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions which I thought was great. The whole procedure went smoothly with clear instructions from Andy with the addition of my health and safety when returning to stand on my feet after being laid backwards by the machine. At the end of the scan he told me clearly what would happen next and the possible time frame for my results to come through.All involved in my visit were a credit to the City Hospital. Thanks vey much.
